Rutland Electric Fencing ESM 5500i Energiser. Mains powered electric fence energiser with 26 stored joules. The ESM 5500i is from Rutland Electric Fencing's new range of 'Intelligiser' energisers. These new electric fence energisers have an automatic boost mode which maintains the fence voltage under load and adds new safety features. The ESM 5500i also has in built diagnostics to protect the energiser circuit from extreme damage. When a sudden change in load is detected the energiser will wait before it increases the output power. This is a new safety feature which should allow any person or animal trapped in the fence to extract themselves. With a mains power source of 220/230v and a maximum power use of 98 watts, this energiser can power a fence from between 10km to 100km, depending upon vegitation. Complies with the latest European standards EN60335-2-76 + A12 and EN55014 EMC.
