Used this on my mare last winter (first time she had mud fever in her 19yrs). Washed her legs (dont pick determined scabs off!) dried legs & then slathered IV MFP liberally the night before she went back out in the morning. Cleared up in 3 days with no return. Used it again the following week as a preventative - highly recommend!
